David is officially half way done with residency!! 2 1/2 years left here in Madison, and the second half is supposedly way easier than the first. We are looking forward to the time we have left here, but also to fellowship (hopefully in some warm weather, exciting place) and to a "real job" (hopefully back in the Fox Valley, near a lot of our family).
Jessi is still busy, busy keeping up with the kids and the house, and doing a little part time childcare as well. I gotta say, I love my career choice.
Natalie is almost 4, and finally mostly potty trained. She is loving her ballet class and swimming lessons and we just signed her up for preK in the fall at a great school here in Madison. She keeps us laughing with all her crazy stories, never a dull moment with her!
Garrett is 19 months and into everything....and I mean everything! He loves to climb anything he can, throw anything he can lift, run, and giggle. Favorite toys are the play vacuum and balls. Current method of driving mom and dad nuts is chucking his paci over the side of his crib at night and saying "uh oh" repeatedly until Natalie comes to get us. It's a fun game, really.
Our family had a great time on a mini vacation to Ski Brule with some amazing friends in January, Jessi got to experience Sundara Spa with some wonderful residency ladies recently and soon we are heading to Montana with Jessi's entire family for a week in the "Last Best Place on Earth", yay for Big Sky country.
