Facebook...Seriously
I am now on Facebook...seriously. Because I need more electronic methods of keeping in touch with people. Blogging just isn't enough. But really, my sister has been telling me I would love it, so I joined. I've been on it for almost twenty four hours now, and I can see this getting addicting. Look me up if you facebook too!

Ski Brule
I went skiing this weekend up to Iron River Michigan with my life group from church. David was working so it was just me and the kids. It opened my eyes a bit to the world of vacationing without the help of your spouse, but I had a ton of help from my friends and had a wonderful time. Natalie skiied...Garrett did not.

Another New Niece!
Jan 8, 2009 my sister Angela had her baby girl, Catherine Anne. On my side of the family, she is grandkid number 7. The list goes like this; Rachel, Max, Rowan, Natalie, Garrett, Kaya, Cate; we think we might have them start wearing numbers. (David's side has three; Natalie, Garrett, Henry) Here are a few photos of the adorable girl!

I have great time!
We took Natalie sledding for the first time last Thursday. She had tons of fun and really loved every minute. At the bottom of the hill after a run, she came up to me and said "Mom, I have great time!", it was adorable! I think more sledding is in our future, if this ice ever clears up!

Garrett's Resume
If Garrett had a resume at 6 months old, it would read something like this; Skills- Rolling over (can perform task up to perimeters of room, walls are highly frustrating), Sitting up (unassisted for short periods of time only), Eating solids (as long as none of them are green), and Posing naked...also, very good at sneezing with mouth full of food, pooping in the tub, and batting at hanging toys just like a kitten...adorable smile and very much a "people person".

She helps clean!!
I was cleaning the house the other day and Natalie thought she'd help. I especially loved that she dusted the walls, the exersaucer and the Christmas tree....very helpful.

Christmas 2008
We did Christmas at home a bit early, then headed to my side of the family for Christmas Eve, David's mom's for Christmas Day, David's dad's on the 26th, and back to Madison at my sister's on the 27th. Natalie had a great time opening all her presents, all Garrett's presents, and a good number of David's and mine as well! Garrett just loved all the attention.

Visit to Montana
Mid December, Garrett and I took a trip out to Kalispell Montana to visit my sister and her new baby girl. Garrett traveled wonderfully, and we really enjoyed our time out there.
In the Christmas jammies, holding hands, how cute!
