Much time, effort and perseverance has been put into the goal of becoming and physician - and I did not do it alone. The day of my graduation was certainly an opportunity to reflect on the journey that I started a number of years ago; however, equally so it was an opportunity to reflect on who I am and where I have come from. When I think of the years I spent in Medical School, I will certainly remember the seemingly endless amounts of material I was expected to assimilate, and the hours in the hospital; however, even more so I will remember my wife's first pregnancy, and the birth of our little girl. I will remember the time and effort that Jessi gave in order to allow me to pursue my dream - to be a godly husband, father and physician. I could not do it without her dedication and love.
The ceremonies were wonderful, and the speakers fantastic - especially my classmate Rob's speech. I want to thank all that came to Madison to celebrate with me.
