Farmer's Market Fun

We had a wonderful time at the Farmer's Market in Madison yesterday, only the second time we've made it there this summer!

Natalie with her balloon mermaid, honestly the most complex balloon "animal" I've ever seen!
My adorable boy, always running away. You can't sit down for 5 seconds with this one!
Sharing a "smooozie".
My tree-hugging daughter, I guess we do live in Madison!
The fam and the capitol
Natalie helping Garrett climb the wall.
He tried to do it by himself, but after much grunting, pointing and trying, he realized he could not make it.
He only wanted to be up there because she was!! (He is a big climber though, mountains are in his future!)
"Here, Garrett, look at the camera". Wow, is she the pot calling the kettle black!!

Green Bay vs. Chicago

We had a great time watching the season opener with some friends when the Packers beat the Bears last week.

Future quarterback #1? Not likely, she'd rather wear a tutu and routinely gets the Packers and Badgers mixed up.
Future quarterback #2? Also, not likely, he's sooo tiny! Maybe a quick little running-back though?
A great picture of the whole Packer-lovin' family. (Some of them don't really have a choice though)

My little ballerina

Natalie started ballet at Storybook Ballet two weeks ago. They get to dance and read a book and dress up like the main character of the book. She loves it and it is so fun to watch her dance!

Week Two
Week Two as Olivia the pig, from "Olivia Saves the Circus"
Week One as Pocahontas, she did not know who she was but it didn't seem to matter one bit!
Week One

September Pics

Random September stuff

Garrett sleeping, I was really hoping to get a picture of him like this before he outgrew this outfit...too cute!!
Garrett places no boundaries on himself as far as what he can shove in his mouth! He was trying to grab whole apples out of my hand when he was 6 months.
One of Natalie and Garrett's favorite games. Put Garrett and as many toys as you can fit into the wagon, pull Garrett around happily until....thud...followed by "Mommy, I did not dump him out of the wagon, he just fell out by himself." hmmmm.
Garrett on the John Deere tractor
New bath towels, my kitty baby and shark baby.

BOAT!

An August afternoon boat ride.

Two Trips to the Zoo

We are so blessed to have a free zoo here in Madison. We go a couple times every year and the kids love it. The lower pictures are of a trip Natalie took with Daddy to get some special time together and to allow mommy to accomplish some house cleaning while Garrett was sleeping. The top photos are of an early September trip with some good friends. The older kids rode th train alone! So brave! (of mommy)

Joshua and Natalie on the train
Natalie and Lydia love to hold hands. The boys, not so much.
Natalie on the zebra, Garrett on the snow leopard.
Natalie is not quite gibbon yet, although I may beg to differ, she is quite the "monkey" (hehehe)
Why do goats always act as thought no one has EVER fed them?
Down the huge slide on the trip with Daddy.
The zebra again, she loves that one.
This may be self-taken...you think?? Love that big bruise on her forehead, not always so graceful, that one.

Garrett in August

Garrett's favorite activity, talking on a cell phone...he loves them!! Also, remote controls and car keys...did you know if you press the red button, the car beeps?? It's great!Too many stuffed animals in this house!
This looks suspiciously like fun at a college party to me. (the bottle was completely empty, by the way)
