Halloween 08
Halloween was really fun this year...we took Natalie trick or treating for the first time. She had a blast with her cousin Rowan. She was so adorable, after we went up to a few houses, you could tell she was figuring this gig out and she was loving it!! These people give me candy and all I have to do is say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you"...can you believe it!! She even made it through all of the trick or treating in her big girl underwear! Garrett was super-cute in his pumpkin outfit, although a few spit-up incidents made him a "puking pumpkin". Gotta love it!

Peepee on the POT-TAY!
I made a decision on Tuesday to give this whole potty training thing another try (we gave it one attempt while I was pregnant, I figured if I was on the potty all the time, she might as well be too..but alas, she did not want to sit there for longer than 5 seconds). So I bought some Dora hair pretties, mini m&m's, and a Dora juice box holder as incentives and gave her two huge sippy cups of milk, then we sat on the potty for 45 minutes. We read books, sang songs, painted our toenails, practiced our letters and had a really great time, but best of all, she went potty!! Lots of singing and praising went on, and she got to use her special toilet paper and flush the potty and wash her hands with her special soap and got some m&m's as a treat. Since then, we've been doing great, we even left the house for two hours and didn't have an accident! I think we are done with diapers....at least for one of them!
She's pretending her letters are glasses!
Day two of potty training, very proud of her assortment of underwear and pull-ups ("only for night-time mommy").

Day three of potty training, we don't wear pants when we're at home so we can get to the potty quicker. She was having a great time with her stickers while I was attempting to get some things done during what was supposed to be a nap.

She takes good care of him
Everyone told me that she'd get jealous of him, but she really hasn't. She loves to "tuck him in" with her dolls and blankets, loves to hold his hand, and clearly the girl can multi-task (note the helping Elmo sit up while feeding her brother a baby bottle). I am so blessed with these beautiful, amazing children...now someone remind me of that at 2 am when they are both crying! =)
