April

Hula baby, thanks Adam & Andrea!

Daddy wore her out on a hike at a conservation park, hard to do!
My little lambie!
Natalie with the current lineup of stuffed animals she must sleep with
Garrett was so tired after dinner the other day he fell asleep right in his high chair!

McKee Farms Park

I spent a beautiful afternoon the other day at McKee Farms Park, or as Natalie calls it "Keys Farms"
This is what Garrett looks like when Nat takes his paci, it isn't pretty.

Sweet hugs!
Just chillin'
Love those baby blues

Very serious here.

Cute mid air smile
We spent about 45 minutes and we traveled about 20 feet, it was tiring...for both of us!
A little frustrated with her efforts here
Cute sideways pose, I can't get her to smile and look at the camera for the life of me

Confusing and/or Criminal 3 year old

As we were hurrying through the grocery store the other day:

We came up to the register and my naughty little girl pulled one of those individually wrapped caramel candies you buy in bulk out of her pocket and said, "Mommy, I think I'd like to try this". I replied with "Where did you GET that?!" (I was actually astonished because I don't recall going by the candy, letting go of her hand or slowing down enough for her to grab anything). Her reply to my question was "I think maybe we should put this back now." Oh dear.

A day or two later:

Natalie: "Mommy, I need a prophecy"
I was very confused by this and pondered it for a while until I figured it out..... she wanted some privacy (in the bathroom, where she does NOT go peepee, by the way...her cousin often says he needs his privacy in the bathroom and she adores him and hangs on his every word, she even told me the other day that he knows EVERYTHING, he'll be 4 in May). Again, oh dear.

Easter 2009

Coloring our Easter Eggs
Adorable baby boy
Very curious about what is happening here....but also a bit impatient
It's amazing how much work went into 10 eggs!
David and Garrett were tired out after all that egg dyeing
Natalie on her egg hunt around the house
She was so excited when she found her basket!
Garrett's first Easter basket (I do plan on eating his chocolate bunny for him!)
David and the kids
Mom and the kids (so hard to get a family shot!)

Fun stuff

Garrett meets the sippy...and loves it! He was chugging within minutes!
Garrett eating Natalie's beloved "blue baby"
Natalie's new love, water color painting. It was a birthday gift, but I went out and bought several sets. $0.92 for at least 30 minutes of tranquility sounds like a good deal to me!
This gives new meaning to Garrett's nickname..."G". The boy is so little he can't keep his pants on, they fall off when he scoots across the carpet, it is cute though!

Natalie's Birthday at Blackhawk

We celebrated Natalie's birthday (round 1) and St. Patrick's Day at Blackhawk with some friends from Titus
and her cousin Rowan

Natalie's Birthday at Keva

We partied again (round 2) at Keva with friends from SOS. Here she is lovin' the parachute with all the other kids (kinda blurry, it's an action shot!)
More parachute fun
Soccer time (when I was pregnant with her, she kicked ALL the time, so we did predict she'd be a soccer player!)
Celebrating with David's family after the party at the Great Dane

Natalie's Birthday at the Nitty Gritty

Round 3 of the birthday celebrations...at the bar at Nitty Gritty with Daddy, gotta love the balloon and free drinks! I guess it's only fitting that one should have 3 parties for turning 3 years old! (although let's hope this trend doesn't continue the older she gets!)
Love the family shot!
Natalie's birthday gift from us, she is quite the photographer (check out Garrett peeking out the side, hehehe!)
We LOVE our LifeGroup!

Little Bitty 3 year old thoughts

Natalie: "Mommy, can I play with that toy?"
Mommy: "No, honey it is for your cousin's birthday, we can't open it up"
Natalie: "Well, could I just little bitty play with it?!"

Natalie's recent version of the alphabet: "A, B, C, D, G, F, G next time won't you sing with me!"
(Cliff's notes version, perhaps?)

Natalie: (while water color painting) "Mommy, it will be your turn soon, you just be patient, ok!"
